Here’s a Yankeekicks on foot detailed early release look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black/Metallic Gold” expected to appear by Holiday season 2020. A revamp of the original 2003 colorway, patent leather drips off the silhouette. However, little changes to the color placement and logos really amplifies the high-profile upper. The glossy Black patent leather extends over the perforated toe box, mudguard, and eyestays. But, decidedly leaves the tongue synthetic to match the sockliner, traditional laces and sole inserts. Unlike the 2003 variation, this updated AJ 1 drops the Jumpman on the heel and replaces the jeweled Air Jordan Wings with Metallic Gold. Likewise, Metallic Gold coats the patent quarter panel Swoosh that wraps around the heel matching the collar below Black ankle stabilizers. Nike tongue branding matches the ones found on the sole inserts. The Air midsole comes Blacked out as well, accented with Gold threading above the Black rubber outsole. Retailing for $170, still no official release for the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black/Metallic Gold.” For now, enjoy the Yankeekicks on foot early release photos and stay tuned for updates.
