Here’s an up close Yankeekicks on feet early release look at the latest of G-Dragon’s wearable art PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 ’07 “Para-Noise 2.0.” The entertainer, entrepreneur and fashion designer from South Korea known mainly as G-Dragon made big noise in the sneaker game when he dropped the Air Force 1 Low Para-Noise back in November of 2019. Flipping the script on the OG iteration, the 2.0 inverts the colors on ’07 silhouette. However, the White super breathable sockliner keeps the simple Peaceminusone branding along the medial ankle. Likewise, the Air midsole and rubber outsole still retain light painted Black brushstrokes throughout. Subsequently, the inserts depict graphics with the right sneaker reading “FLOWER IS YOU” dripping in Red paint and the left showing a G-Dragon crudely drawn daisy.

Even the throat comes coated, which leaves only the tongue with an embroidered Black petaled daisy and Nike Swoosh untouched. While the Black upper from the previous model give almost nothing away, the White lacquer makes it easier to see cracks in the surface and hints of what’s hiding below. Which is cool because we know the G-Dragon aesthetic and anticipate the reveal. Tiny pops of Gold in the embroidered tongue and Red aglets on the thick Black laces perfectly balance the monochromatic colorway. And when you want to switch up your style, you can swop out the Black laces for White ones ending in Black aglets and four logo pins for the enlarged upper eyelets. Finally, the Nike Air Force 1 PEACEMINUSONE Para-Noise 2.0 comes with an artist style hang tag that is also a synthetic sticker. The wear-away coating salutes those who wear their sneakers often and love being seen in them. Unveiling something beautiful and unique below that can only be appreciated over time is a genius move.
