Step inside the Yankeekicks closet with on feet images of the upcoming Sacai x Nike Pegasus VaporFly SP “Villain Red” dropping in the next few weeks retailing for $180. The second colorway coming from the Japanese designer Chitose Abe takes form in the Pegasus VaporFly. After the Black/Pure Platinum Vaporwaffle, the use of vivacious hues of Purple and Green are a nice addition. Applying a mix of suede, mesh, leather and foam, the hybrid comprises a perfect balance of Pegasus and VaporFly. Suede covers the Villain Red toe tip leading into midsole as well as the leather heel and matching pull tab. Meanwhile, the suede eyestays hit in a Neptune Green perfectly parallels the laces. A second Black pair creates contrasting balance and mirrors the heel counter, quarter panel Swoosh and rubber Waffle outsole. String colored mesh makes up the most of the upper and can also be seen along the extended midsole heel sandwiched between classic White. In true Sacai fashion, the silhouette doubles up on Swooshes, tongues, and laces.
