Kyrie Irving and Nike honor the late, great Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming Nike Kyrie 7 “Hendrix” rumored to release sometime this Fall for $140. This iteration of Kyrie Irving’s seventh silhouette pays homage to one of the world’s most talented artists gone too soon. A pioneer of the electric guitar, the Woodstock headliner is best known for his classics “The Wind Cries Mary”, “Purple Haze”, and “Voodoo Child”. The multiple colors and patterns in the K 7 reflect his psychedelic musical style. Active Fuschia braces the medial end of the silhouette as well as the upper mesh coating throughout the rest of the design. Rippling Black swirls dance over a soft Blue base below. Ghost Green covers the knitted grid of the tongue leading up to the Tan sockliner. Meanwhile, trippy Red stripes appear in waves at the heel along with a uniquely styled All-Seeing Hendrix Eye. Black accents appear throughout and settle in the rubber outsole with ridged treading. We can expect the Nike Kyrie 7 “Hendrix” to drop in the upcoming weeks at select retailers as well as the Nike official website. However, only time will tell when they actually release.
