Art-first fashion brand Bandulu partners up with Converse yet again for their latest collection including a Pro Leather, Chuck 70, and apparel. Bandulu Street Couture will be the first to tell you: the word, taking from Jamaican Patois, means fake. They rework and reimagine brands we already know with their unique artistic twist. BSC puts great importance on integrity versus reputation, which seems to be what most hypebeasts focus on. Their mission is to add distinct quality vintage construction and hand-stitched embellishments to clothes around the world.

Although not the first collab with Converse, this Bandulu Street Couture 2021 collection stands out. White Asparagus, Cappucino, and Gum Light Honey set the tone for the capsule, enhanced with BTS paint splatter and silk drip embroidery. Along with the Converse sneakers, the collection boasts a cotton canvas hoodie featuring fleece lining, quarter-length zipper, and front kangaroo welt pocket. Basketball shorts in Wood Thrush accompany the hoodie. Moreover, a White Asparagus “Lolo” Tee featuring a Bandulu “tattoo” graphic with original artwork pairs perfectly with the White base of the Chuck 70.
