Inspired by Japanese fried chicken, Nike prepares to release the Air Max 90 SE “Swoosh Mart” exclusively to Asia later this month. This AM 90 comes dressed in White Speed Yellow vertical stripes. This represents the chicken wrapping seen in Japan. While the overlays come comprised of smoothed leather, the toe box and heel feature peel away portions to reveal popping graphics below.
They even show tiny “open” tabs for easy removal. Meanwhile, Metallic eyestays, quarter panel Swoosh, and heel counter resemble foil. More White comes in the laces, and Air midsole. The insoles even feature tongs perfect for clamping a freshly fried piece of chicken. Subsequently, the design finishes off with Nude Air cassettes and a translucent outsole. The fun and fresh Nike Air Max 90 SE “Swoosh Mart” drops to select retailers in Asia on March 19th retailing for $140.
