On the whole, Nike collaborations brings the world several uniquely innovative silhouettes and colorways. Namely, the Asian driven work of CLOT x AJ 1 “Fearless” and the upper that is meant to be warn away.
In the same way, we saw K Pop sensation and fashion icon G Dragon give us personally painted PEACEMINUSONE “Para-Noise” Air Force 1 revealing an unseen art piece below. With this in mind, Nike is taking this tearaway concept to the upcoming SB Air Joran 1 Low QS “Desert Ore/Royal Blue” releasing December 6th.
First, the mismatched sneakers share a few similarities. For example, White laces and midsole balance the mirroring Nike SB Branding on the Green and Red split insole. From there the khaki colored canvas uppers reveal Royal and Powdered Blues beneath the panels on the right foot.
Likewise, Royal Blue and Black are seen on the left. Clearly, the canvas is meant to be worn down as fans will notice the imprint of the Jordan wings and heel branding just visible underneath. Contrasting White/Powdered Blue and Black/Royal Blue tongue tabs continue the mismatched theme. Plush mesh collar and sockliner hug the ankle in Powdered Blue on the right and Black on the left.
Outsoles are Powdered and Royal Blue respectively. Moreover, the kicks also come with two additional pair of laces in Black and Powdered Blue. But what exactly is hidden below the surface? You’ll just have to cop a pair and stay tuned here for all the latest in sneaker news to find out.
