YankeeKicks brings you another sneak peek sneaker, this time showing off the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS SAMPLE. Dutch illustrator, painter, and animator Parra produces vibrant, post-Pop imagery populated by hybrid figures. His artwork sells for hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Last making his way in the sneaker world with the 2019 Dunk Low OG QS, this SAMPLE sneaker updates his previous style.

Still keeping elements of Fire Pink, Gym Red, and White, we see the addition of Mocha Brown, Teal, and a vivid Royal Blue. However, each individual upper takes on its own unique qualities. On both Dunks, Mocha hits the suede perforated toe box, tongue. This allows Royal Blue to practically radiates off the plush low-profile collar and sock liner. Both tongue liners pop in Parra’s signature flowy imagery. Likewise, both uppers feature the same White spiral laces and Black suede quarter panel Nike Swooshes. 

Here, the two sneakers go their separate ways. The right Dunk opts for Mocha suede quarter panels and Parra’s graphics for the leather toe wrap, lace cage, as well as ankle and heel overlays. Meanwhile, the left upper takes those graphics and moves them to the quarter panel and heel underlays. This leaves crips clean White for the overlays. Subsequently, White midsoles and rubber outsoles close out the silhouette.

As of now, the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS SAMPLE remains just that; a Sample. While it may never see a general release, at least you can enjoy the YankeeKicks sneak peek. But, be sure to stay tuned for more information on these Dunks coming soon.
