Nike plans to release the upcoming Air Max 90 in “Signal Blue” with “First Use” dressing sometime in the following months retailing for $140. Similar to the AF 1 First Use, this AM 90 upper salutes the first appearance of the iconic Nike Swoosh. Utilizing a mix of nylon, suede, and TPU plastic, these gorgeous hues of Blue and White create a classic look.
Shiny nylon appears on the toe box as well as the heel and ankle underlays. On top, a fuzzy suede vamp, smooth suede toe wrap, and forefoot overlays. Game Royal shows up on the TPU lower eyestays and Air Max quarter panel window. Likewise, Game Royal coats the fuzzy suede mudguard wrapping around the heel to the matching heel counter.
Meanwhile, White hits the tongue, leather tongue tab, and laces. Again, we see White on the uppermost TPU eyestays, insoles, Air midsole, and lateral leather Swoosh. However, on the medial side, we find just an outline of the Swoosh below the text “First use June 18, 1971.” Signal Blue comes back into the design for the rubber toe tip and TPU covered visible Air unit in the midsole.
Subsequently, the rubber outsole arrives in Black. Golden mini Swoosh dubraes inlaid with a single small diamond act as the cherry on top of a stellar colorway. Expected to release later this year, stay tuned for more info on the Air Max 90 “Signal Blue” retailing for $140. Keep it locked with YankeeKicks for more updates.
