Step inside the YankeeKicks closet with an up-close detailed look at Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro SB “Friends & Family” colorway. Dutch artist Piet Parra brings his eclectic and hard-to-categorize style to the SB Dunk Low silhouette yet again. Mixing highly saturated hues and post-pop curvy imagery with suede and canvas, we get a truly enigmatic looking upper.

Still keeping elements of Fire Pink, Gym Red, Orange, Teal, and a vivid Royal Blue normally seen in Parra’s. imagery, White leather underlays make for the perfect negative space giving focus to the rich colors. Particularly with the mesh tongue, thick laces, and perforated toe box. However, each individual upper takes on its own unique qualities.
Here, the two sneakers go their separate ways. The right Dunk chooses Teal for its suede toe wrap which leads up to the Gym Red mid eyestays before finally meeting the Royal Blue ankle and heel overlays. Meanwhile, the left upper opts for a Red toe wrap, Orange mid eyestays, and Fire Pink ankle and heel overlays.
The two sneakers reunite under a mid-sized Black Nike Swoosh embroidered into the White quarter panels. Likewise, both shoes carry Teal sockliners, as well as Parra’s iconic serpent pattern which covers the canvas heel counters tongue liner, tongue tab, and reverse tongue tab. Going inside the sneakers, more serpent pattern dresses the sole inserts.
Subsequently, the Gum rubber outsole with Magenta arches rounds out the silhouette, topped with White Parra branding on the right lateral toe and left heel along with a mini Swoosh on the left lateral toe and Nike branding on the right heel.
As of now, the Piet Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS “Friends & Family” may never see a general release. So until we get more info, at least you can enjoy the images from the YankeeKicks closet. Keep it locked for more sneaker release news coming soon.
