Celebrating International Women’s Day, adidas teams up with Saudi designer Arwa Al Banawi for the upcoming Forum ’84 Low “Arwa”.
Designing with the empowered woman in mind, Arwa Al Banawi honors both her womanhood and her heritage in this latest Forum Low silhouette. Her chic yet comfortable aesthetic pairs perfectly with this model. Utilizing three different shades of White, and traditional Arabic fabrics, the upper is a true celebration.
Off-White kicks off the canvas base, prominently featured in the toe box, throat, quarter panels, and midsole. Atop that, we find Crystal White suede overlays with matching tongue tab and ankle strap. The tongue appears in Cloud White mathicng the leather liners, laces, and portions of the heel.
Meanwhile, Red keffiyeh patterns sprawl over the heel counters pairing perfectly with the Cloud White leather Three Stripes topped with Red thread. Additionally, the Forum 84 Low comes accented with a rich Golden Trifoil on the tongue, words written in Farsi, a Western Iranian language, and Arwa’s name proudly displayed on the heel collar.
Subsequently, the Golden Brown rubber outsole goes well with the matching canvas accents towards the back of the shoe and completes this captivating silhouette.
