The YankeeKicks Closet adds a pair of Air Jordan 1 High Switch “Peach” rumored to release sometime later this year retailing for $175. While images of this convertible AJ 1 in different colorways have been teased for months, this soft Peach and brilliant Volt edition truly pops against the silhouette.
Peter Moore’s iconic high-profile design gets an all-new zipper that fully detaches at the ankle. Going from High to Low with the removal of the top half of the collar and top half of the OG style tongue which is secured in place with a Velcro patch.
Black distressed suede hits the high-cut collar and quarter panel Nike Swoosh matching the nylon tongue. Peach suede takes over the overlays at the toe wrap, forefoot, ankle, and heel.
Meanwhile, a muted Cream coats the suede perforated toe box, quarter panes, and the ankle just above the Volt zipper line. Likewise, this same neon color appears on the Nike Air tongue branding as well as a rope heel pull tab securing the two halves in a Light Peach circle.
Additional accents include the secondary Light Peach laces as well as the matching embroidered mini-Swoosh at the toe and snap button on the High section of the tongue. Subsequently, the AJ 1 High Switch rests on a classic White rubber outsole given a slight Peach tint.
The design itself breathes some new life into a done-to-death silhouette, offering more versatility than ever before. So, what are your thoughts; do you think they are worth the cop next year? Stay tuned for an official release date for the Air Jordan 1 High Switch “Peach” with YankeeKicks coming soon.
