The shoe is designed in the colors of the University of North Carolina, featuring a mix of blue and white. The Air Jordan 5 “UNC” is part of a series of college-themed releases by Jordan Brand.

The Air Jordan 5 shoes are being released in a University Blue, Black, and White color scheme inspired by Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The shoes have a University Blue nubuck upper with reflective tongues and a collegiate patch on the heels. The words “Heart” and “Soul” are featured behind the tongues, and the shoes have a Black midsole with Grey speckling and a translucent outsole. The shoes will come in a special box and be available in full family-sizing.
