Soon, Nike will hit the skateboard community with an iconic Infrared colorway for the SB Dunk Low, available at select skateboard shops mid-January. Before now, the Infrared color scheme is usually reserved for the Nike Air and Air Jordan silhouettes. However, thanks to Shoe Collector Chris Robinson, we have detailed images of the upcoming Dunk Lows.
In essence, the eye is pulled to the popping Infared enlarged tongue liner, heel stabilizer, tread on the rubber outsole and Nike SB logo on the tongue tab. The tongue itself is a Creme-colored mesh that tonally blends with the Light Grey sueded quarter panels and lacing system. The inner tongue liner appears to be a Deep Grey. This leads down to the White mesh forefoot underlay. Likewise, matching White mesh is seen on the underlay collar panels.
Deep Grey suede Swoosh panels wrap around the heel and tuck themselves underneath the Nike branded Infared heel stabilizer. Additionally, Dunk Low collectors have the option of wearing Black oval laces to match the Black leather ankle stabilizer and heel counter or White oval laces to match the underlays and midsole.
Will you be heading to your local skateboard shop to cop a pair of Nike SB Dunk Low Infrared for $90, or will you let these pass you buy. Until then, be sure to stay tuned for more sneak peeks, reviews and releases of the hottest kicks.
