We take an up close review of the Asia exclusive Air Max 1 CNY “Longevity” releasing mid-January.
Chinese New Year is celebrated January 25th the world over. Particularly, the Nike and Jordan brands. Together, the two athletic wear brands are releasing 8 total Chinese New Year 2020, the Year of the Rat performance sneakers. One of which is this Nike Air Max 1 “Longevity.”
Releasing exclusively in Asia later this month with only 7,000 pairs available, the AM 1 Longevity does nothing if not stand out. These sneakers are a Neon dream, dipped in radiant shades of Fuchsia, Royal Blue, Volt Green, Highlighter Yellow and Vibrant Red.
Get into the look
Each panel meticulously details their unique color and design. The underlays appear constructed from an acid washed denim. They stand out best on the Nike Air branded tongue and toe box.
Royal Blue dragons sit atop patent leather quarter panel lace guards. They meet a in a Volt Green Vamp. The ankle panel displays in butterflies and Golden embroidered Chinese characters on a Highlighter Yellow background.
Subsequently, the heel of the Air Max 1 CNY Longevity boasts White and Yellow flowers surrounded by Royal Blue characters floating on a vibrant Red background. Similarly, Red quarter panel Swooshes rest atop the dragons. Fuchsia eyestays not only house the pale Purple laces, but match the Chinese symbols debossed across the mudguard.
Inside the Black sockliner, we find a Chinese vector patterns in the same Green, Red and Blue found on the boarders of the tongue tag. Under the mudguard is the glossy Black midsole with visible Air Max unit. Finally, out the look is the frosted Blue translucent outsole with its dynamic treading for outstanding performance.
