In 2016, Parley teamed up with adidas Ultra Boost to create a sneaker with an upper made from recycled ocean waste. Now, we have new photos of an upcoming Parley For The Oceans x adidas Ultra Boost. The Parley Ultra Boost uses Tailored Fibre Technology to construct a clean White upper comprised of yarns and filaments recycled from ocean waste and illegal gill nets. Likewise, White is used on the collar and sockliner, tongue, laces and full-length Ultra Boost cupsole. Black is used sparingly along the outsole. Meanwhile, the upper comes coated in Ocean Indigo yarn, stitched in wavy circles from the toe to the heel. Finally, Indigo adidas x Parley co-branding lines the White sole insert. While the previous collab between Parley For The Ocean and adidas was a limited release, this model will release to the public. But as far as when and for how much, we’ll just have to wait and see.
