In celebration of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Jordan Brand hits us with a Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Tokyo.” Seemingly taking cues from a limited 2001 Japan-exclusive colorway and the recent Dior x Jordan collab, the AJ 1 Retro comes dressed in smooth Neutral Gray leather underlays, tongue, and rubber outsole. Meanwhile a nearly chrome Metallic Silver hits the perforated toe box and heel tumble leather. Laces take on their own chrome-like color to better match the toe, heel, high-profile ankle stabilizer and quarter panel Swoosh. Yellow jeweled Air Wings brand on the ankle and White Air midsole break up the Silver on Grey aesthetic. Rumored to release July 24th or 25th for $170. Do you plan to cop a pair? Stay tuned for updates.
