Get a closer look at the Jordan 3 Retro x DJ Khaled “Father of Asad.” Released exclusively as a Friends & Family edition back in 2018, DJ Khaled celebrates the album drop of the same name as well as his first born son. Royal Blue suede coats most of the 3’s upper, including the perforated throat and eyestays, heel counter, sole inserts and preset laces. The phrase “WE THE BEST” which can only be read in Khaled’s hype man voice, appears on the left heel tab in Black opposite the Jumpman emblem on the right heel in White. Underneath the left tab against the Black perforated leather collar, Khaled hides the hastags #stillinthemeeting #wethebest and #grateful. Meanwhile, #jumpman23 #majorkey and #blessup hide under the right tab.

Mudguard overlays on the toe and heel take on Black and White cement. More Black is seen wrapped around the heel and accented on the upper eyelets. While Fire Red pops on the tongue liner, accent the lower eyelets and ball of the outsole. The liner itself arrives in crisp clean White, matching the midsole. Translucent Silver covers the rest of the outsole. In addition to the preset Royal laces, the Jordan 3 Father of Asad come with Fire Red and Crisp White laces for optimal styling. Friends, family and the lucky few to win a pair via raffle also received a translucent “WE THE BEST” Jordan hang tag.
