Set to release later this year, this Blue iteration represents the ‘Away’ team in the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 “Home and Away” Pack. They follow the reveal of the pack’s “Home” team, the Baltimore, Maryland Orioles. Clean White coats the leather toe box and smooth leather mudguard. Additionally, this extends up the forefoot and into the quarter panel, lined in Navy stitching. The tongue, liner and upper heel’s breathable mesh comes dressed in Navy. Meanwhile the suede vamp and lower half the of the quarter panels arrive in a slightly darker hue. Royal Blue gorgeously accents the AM 90 laces, eyestays, and heel counter. More Royal Blue Nike branded quarter panels, including a jeweled Swoosh. Likewise, Royal Blue comprises the “Home” compass on the right tongue and the “Away” compass on the left. Navy continues down the sockliner onto the Nike branded sole insert. Beneath the White foam Air Max midsole we fine a Gum and Medium Brown waffle outsole. Based on the use of Blues, the opposing team represented by this “Away” Nike Air Max 90 could be the Tampa Bay Rays or the Kansas City Royals. What are your thoughts?
