Designed to be Penny Hardaway’s signature model, the Foamposite design took over 3 years to make before debuting in ’97. Blue Void takes over the breathable mesh heel pull tab and connected leather forefoot overlays, mesh tongue and traditional laces. Meanwhile, the molded polyurethane upper appears liquified in Rugged Orange. University Gold accents the miniature Swooshes along the vamp, Penny Hardaway’s “1 Cent” tongue and heel logo and possibly coating the sockliner.
