We’re getting some serious Shattered Backboard vibes from this upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Electro Orange” expected to release this June.
Very similar to the 2015 colorway, this mix of smooth and patent leather combined with shiny nylon makes for a fine 2021 upgrade. Crisp White kicks us off on the perforated toe box and quarter panels as well as the high-profile ankle overlays.
On top, stark Black dresses the nylon tongue, laces, and patent leather forefoot overlays. Particularly the toe wrap and quarter panel Swooshes bring the eye up to the Air Jordan Wings. Again, we find Black on the tongue and sock liners leading down in the Nike Air branding on the Black insoles.
This branding matches the tongue tab perfectly with these accents of Electro Orange. Likewise, the titular brilliant Orange pops gorgeously on the high-profile collar and subsequently the rubber outsole below.
Additionally, two extra sets of laces in White and Orange give you more styling options when rocking these Jordans. Changing out Starfish or the more vibrant shade of Electro might seem subtle, but no less impactful to the overall colorway and silhouette.
