After months of teasing, we get a confirmed release date for the upcoming Paris Saint-Germain Air Jordan 7 “PSG” dropping at the end of May. The iconic professional football club teams up with Jordan Brand yet again with an AJ 7 colorway that perfectly reflects France’s most successful club.
Classic White, College Navy, University Red, and Sport Royal dress the AJ 7 silhouette. And obviously, many details have changed since the initial mockup images we saw last year.
Starting with the White leather upper, the laces and small mesh netting on the quarter panels and ankles add dimension to the design. College Navy shines on the large tongue and perforated throat and vamp.
This comes topped with brilliant University Red Jordan branding accented by a matching synthetic liner on the tongue. Additionally, the lateral mesh sections of the ankles house Golden Jumpman emblems seemingly leaping over waves of Navy, Black, and Red.
Coming around to the heels, a White heel pull tab features a Red stripe down the center, leading to a matching Eiffel Tower straddling a White fleur-de-lis inside a Navy circle. Subsequently, Black makes up the majority of the rubber outsole with accents of White and Navy in jagged lines on the midsole and hints of Red along the base.
Keeping in line with previous PSG models, we see “PANAME” and “ICI C’EST PARIS” on the quarter panel tabs and insoles, respectively. Finally, the gorgeously designed sneakers arrive in a Black box topped with a Sport Royal cobranded lid.
So, what are your thoughts on the Paris Saint-Germain Air Jordan 7 “PSG”? Do you plan to cop them on May 22nd when they drop for $215? Either way, enjoy the images and stay tuned with YankeeKicks for more info on upcoming sneaker releases.
