Kim Jones partners up with Converse to bring us Chuck 70 Utility Wave Hi in “Black” and “Egret” colorways dropping at the end of the week. English fashion designer, Kim Nikolas Jones takes a break from his role as Artistic Director of Italian fashion house Fendi to bring his sense of sportswear and streetwear to the iconic silhouette of the Chuck 70.
Choosing two of the most recognizable Converse colorways, Jones takes the idea of protecting a classic to the next level. Black with White accents or Egret with White accents graces the canvas uppers of these Chuck Hi. Next, Jones adds a transparent TPU cage complete with speed lace eyelets. Additionally, tooling gets extended higher to reinforce stability throughout the silhouette. Kim Jones’ name comes featured on the tongue and sockliner. Subsequently, the traction on the outsole also get an upgrade with new enhanced diamond grid traction.
