The “University Blue” colorway finally makes its way to the Nike Dunk Low on June 24th retailing for $100. We’ve seen this iconic Blue colorway time and time again from the AJ 1 High OG to the Nike AF 1.
Now, the Dunk Low joins the family. Why mess with a classic colorway? The only thing to do is switch up the silhouette, which is exactly what we see in this low-profile upper.
Full-grain leather upper utilizes crisp White for the perforated toe box, quarter panels, nylon tongue, collar, and heel underlays. The same goes for the Nike branding on the insoles and the embroidery on the heel counters.
Meanwhile, the titular University Blue takes over the overlays, laces, as well as the sock and tongue liner. Likewise, this deep Blue coats the quarter panel Swoosh, and rubber outsole. All things considered, the balance of Blue and White plays well with the low-profile silhouette, showing off more of the ankle.
Dropping at the peak of Summer, do you plan to cop the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “University Blue” or will you let them pass you by? Will we see a delay like with other drops this year? Either way, enjoy the images and be sure to stay tuned with YankeeKicks for more info on sneaker releases.
