Grade-school kids will get their own Special Edition Air Jordan 13 dubbed “Playground” to bring in the new school year with style.

Everyone knows the playground is the social site for grade-school kids. It’s the place to see and be seen before school, get a break from classes mid-day, and the chill spot when the last bell rings. Soon, they can show up to school with Air Jordan 13 Retro GS swagger in these colorful “Playground” kicks.

Seen flexing in a White premium leather upper, the AJ 13 Retro mirrors the original panther-inspired design. All in all, Designer Tinker Hatfield brings out the Nike Zoom cushioning, sleek leather, hidden webbed lacing system and Air Jordan 23 holographic eye. At the same time, Tinker delivers on a fun and vibrant multi-colored look for kids perfect for playtime. Gorgeous colors rock the foam midsole, lightweight oval laces, medial collar panels, insoles and heel stabilizing panels.

As previously mentioned, two shoes mismatch in a playful array of hues. Orange, Purple, and Red on the right sneaker with Yellow, Green with Blue on the left. Perforated tongues sit under Bright Blue oval laces on the left shoe or Golden Yellow on the right. They end in matching Jordan logo vamp tags atop a carbon fiber forefoot panel. Moreover, polished White woven quarter overlays appear puncture stitched and pair nicely with the perforated tongue.

Reminiscent of a panther at play, this Jordan Retro 13 GS offers supportive paw-like herringbone traction on the outsole for quick, easy free motion. Meanwhile, the upper comfortably grips the forefoot and a snug fit and the webbed lacing system assures locked in responsive cushioning. Total Orange hits the left heel underlay above a Court Purple midsole and Vibrant Red outsole. Similarly, Golden Yellow dominates the right heel panel above a Navy Blue midsole and Deep Green outsole.
