Today we look over the cancelled 7-Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low. The 2020 Olympics set to be held in Japan inspired a plethora of sneakers from performance to lifestyle and the 7-Eleven Dunk Low was no different. 7-Eleven, itself, is a Japanese-based franchise and the world was super hyped for an official collaboration with Nike SB since the ’08 “Big Gulp” Dunks. The Nike SB also wanted to celebrate the fact the Skateboarding is now an Olympic sport. However, officials have postponed the athletic events until 2021. With that being said, Nike decided to cancel the release altogether, leaving only a small sum of samples floating around in the ether. Is it possible that when the Olympics return next year we’ll get a different announcement from Nike? Only time will tell. Until then, enjoy the photos from the Yankeekicks gallery of the cancelled 7-Eleven SB Dunk. Looking for some Nike kicks you can cop right now?
