adidas launched a five-piece collection honoring a 14th Century Chinese historical novel representing 5 Generals, one of which is the D Rose 10. Thought to be an Asia exclusive release back in March, but most likely held up due to the pandemic, it’s possible to see a general release for the collection with images surfacing on US11. Inspired by East Asian literature, the 10th D Rose model represents General Guan Yu from historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Though a real man known for his faithfulness to his Emperor in the year, he was defied after his death in the year 220. Matching this D Rose 10 colorway, Guan Yu is often depicted as a Red faced man in adorned in Green and Gold. Rumored to see a Japan release soon, will the 5 Generals D Rose 10 make its way to the US?
