The adidas Ultraboost “Thermal” brings the heat in this special infrared design set to release in time for Summer. Similar to the Civilist Berlin SB Dunk Low, this Ultraboost upper utilizes Black as a base for thermal Reds, Yellows, Blues, and Greens.

However, this mesh silhouette is not heat-activated. Instead, the thermal sections focus on the toe box, toe wrap, tongue, heel collar. The “hottest” sections represented by Red radiate outward “cooling” down to Blue and leaving some areas Black for the greatest visual effect.

Likewise, Black makes up the laces, overlay cage, and Boost midsole. The Three Stripes on the quarter panels in Pale Yellow look almost naturally reflective and match the theme perfectly. Finally, Black closes out the look on the liner, insole, and rubber outsole below.
