The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid “Sesame” releasing later this year looks good enough to eat. This AJ 1 Mid takes an all-new approach to its colorway and construction. Usually, we find classic White smooth leather for our underlays and midsole, keeping the colorway stable. However, this time around White is utilized in the incredibly cool looking micro-perforated overlays. These appear on the toe wrap, eyestays, ankles, heels, and quarter panel Nike Swoosh. More of this micro-perf leather shows up in our mid-profile ankle underlays covered in Flash Crimson. Likewise, this Crimson color makes up the Jumpman emblem on the tongue tab. Meanwhile, the titular Sesame color coats the smooth leather tongue, quarter panels, and regularly perforated toe box. An interesting mix of Psychic Blue for the tongue tab background, synthetic collar, liners, mesh insole, and rubber outsole brings the colorway to a close.
