Viva Boriquas, Nike Air Force 1 revisits its 2005 colorway to bring us the AF 1 Low Retro QS “Puerto Rico” available starting June 2nd. Without a doubt a perfect blend of present and past, the updated Air Force 1 Low keeps the traditional colorway clean and simple with a few surprise accents. Smooth White leather coats almost the entire silhouette from midsole to tongue. However, Navy creates great contrast along the low-profile heel as well as the sock and tongue liners and the rubber outsole. We even see Navy mini-Swooshes appear on the White vamp. Puerto Rican flags fly on the tongue tab, from the wearer’s perspective, and again on the lateral heel of each Nike AF 1 Low. Finally, going inside the liner, adorable Coqui frogs, native to PR and named for the sound they make, rest atop the White sole inserts.
