Nike plans to take us back to 2003 with the upcoming Air Max 90 “Laser” with wood grain paneling expected to release sometime this Spring retailing for $150. Drawing comparisons to the limited edition Mark Smith x Air Force 1 from 2003 of the same name, this AM 90 sports a laser-cut design.
However, instead of the vector flame tattoo styled engraving s of Mark Smith, we find a wood grain texture in a Natural leather upper. In fact, everything from the tongue tab, to quarter panel Nike Swooshes, to the Air Max branding comes etched directly into the upper creating a gorgeous mix of patterns. Subsequently, the White midsole and translucent rubber outsole match the White laces ending in wooden Nike Swoosh aglets, bringing the look together. Sure to sell out as soon as they drop, stay tuned to YankeeKicks for more information on the Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” coming soon.
