Unlike, the hues of the Muted Pastel or pop of color on the Yellow Crater Foam, the Velvet Brown Vintage ’77 goes for a graphic upper. Despite being monochromatic, we lose none of the style or sophistication. Velvet Brown hits the smooth leather forefoot overlays made more notable by the tumbled leather quarter panel Swoosh. Meanwhile, light Brown takes over the repeating “Nike” rectangles moving in different directions.
