Here’s another 2001 Japan exclusive brought into 2020, the Nike Dunk Low “Samba” releasing August 21st retailing for $100. Just like the AJ 1 High Midnight Navy Nike pays homage to the original release almost 20 years ago. Hyper Blue takes over the smoothed glossy leather underlays from the perforated toe box to the heel. This continues of the breathable mesh tongue and quarter panels. Meanwhile, Silver coats the overlays allowing Samba Red to pop in contrast on the carbon fibre Nike Swoosh, heel counter and rubber outsole. Subsequently, classic White from the Air midsole matches the laces, sockliner and Hyper Blue tongue tab branding. Branding on the heel counter turns from White to Black, the only Black we’ll see on this silhouette. With so many iconic remakes coming this Fall, will the Nike Dunk Low “Samba” make it into your collection?
