Kevin Durant goes Versace with his latest colorway for the Nike KD 13 “Butterflies and Chains” set to release May 17th for $150. Given a full graphic upper worthy of artwork status, the KD 13 comes decked out in lavishly rich Red, Blue, Pink, Orange and Gold. Picturesque little butterflies flutter below thick Golden chain links. With this in mind, Black hits extra hard on the synthetic tongue, laces, leather ankle stabilizers, liner, mudguard and outsole. Asymmetrical Gold Metillc Nike Swooshes adorn the quarter panels; smaller and inverted on the medial side. Subsequently, the Black on Red sole insert bares Kevin Durant x Air Zoom co-branding. The large White Air Zoom midsole caps off the basketball sneaker, making it both sleek and clean. The entire design is said to be inspired by Versace, but the KD 13 “Butterflies and Chains” is its own work of art.
