Put your fist in the air and get ready to “Fight the Power” with Public Enemy x PUMA Sky LX. Another PUMA hits the Public Enemy Collection, celebrating one of the world’s most groundbreaking songs. “Fight the Power” released in 1988 on the album “It Takes a Nation of Millions of Hold Us Back” and held the Billboard 200 for 47 weeks. Celebrating this iconic moment for both music and African American culture, PUMA offers up a retro’d Sky LX. The high-profile silhouette comes decked out in clean White smooth leather and vibrant High Risk Red tumbled-patent leather. White covers most of the upper. However, Red shines through on the hook and loop ankle straps, eyelets, throat tab, perforated toe box, quarter panel and heel overlays as well as the rubber outsole. PUMA x DEF JAM co-branding appears in Red on the tongue and more Def Jam logos can be seen along the Sky LX heel and lateral ankle above the phrase “Fight the Power”. Hip hop lovers and PUMA fans alike can cop the Public Enemy Sky LX April 9th retailing for $140.
