International Women’s Day brings out a new side to your favorite Nikes, like with the upcoming WMNS Air Force 1 07 LV8 “Red Plum.” The recent Dia de los Muertos collection from Nike created a surge in deep Purples, vibrant Golds, and intricate patterns. These AF 1 07s expand on those themes, showing off touches of feminity as well as national pride. The perforated toe box and quarter panels both utilize Red Plum fuzzy suede detailing surrounded by what looks like painted on Wild Violet. Meanwhile, Arctic Pink suede overlays carry University Gold designs in toe wrap and Wild Violet for the heels. Likewise, Violet lines the synthetic sole inserts featuring Light Arctic Oink doodles and Nike branding. White leather hits the eyestays and quarter panel Nike Swooshes as University Gold leather covers the heel counter and stabilizer. Glitter accents the tongue branding as well as the mini Swoosh dubraes making this pair not just festive, but adorably playful. The titular Red Plum closes out the look with rubber outsoles above a White midsole. With International Women’s Day approaching on March 8th, hopefully, we’ll see the release of the WMNS Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8 “Red Plum” in time to celebrate.
