Love is in the soles with the marriage of Nike SB and Strange Love Valentine’s Day Dunk.

StrangeLove designers Sean Cliver and Todd Bratrud team up with Nike SB to bring some love to your Spring 2020 skating apparel. Rumor has it, the release should coincide with next year’s St. Valentine’s Day.

Get into the look…

First, our eyes are pulled to the well crafted Powdered Pink suede overlay panels. On the lateral heel panel, we see the StrangeLove skull/heart branding. Plush velvet underlay panels contrast beautifully against Red laces. Additional accents are found in the fuzzy Swooshes, velvet tongue collar, heel collar and sockliner. However, it’s what’s underneath and inside that sneaker heads will love.

On the left Powder Pink insole, a Siamese Cupid skeleton graphic, complete with wings and a bow, is wrapped in a Blood Red cloth reading “StrangeLove.” The cloth and feathers cascade down to the Nike SB branding and one final feather pressed against the heel. Subsequently, the right insole is more simplistic, featuring an arrow-struck underside of a skateboard wrapped with Red ribbon reading “Soul Mate.”

Finally under the shoe, translucent Powder Pink outsole reveals Red and Blue heart confetti is scattered across the front and back with Red debossed Nike SB logo in the center. A secondary pair of thick White laces help accent the White midsole.
