That’s right. Yeezy x Adidas is dropping V2 after V2 this Holiday season and beyond.

(Not) coming down from his 9th album debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200, Kanye West plans on releasing several new colorways for the Adidas x Yeezy Boost 350 V2. Some will be here in time for the Holiday season. However, a rumored nine new designs are set to release in 2020.

Although Ye has an extensive catalog with Adidas brand, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is perhaps the most popular Yeezy sneaker made to date. Originally released in September 2016 with the “Beluga” cleat, the V2 has come a long way after 3 years. This season is all about reflection.

Get into the look…

Baptized “May God Live” in Hebrew, “Yecheil” is a multi-colored, reflective performance shoe meant to be warn — and glow, in the dark. Adidas tech uses 1,267-4,156 feet of reflective yarn meant to bounce light in all directions. Differing slightly from 3M tech often seen in sneakers.

In addition to elastic Primeknit upper and ribbed BOOST Charcoal Black midsole, Kanye seemingly breaks from his usual minimalistic color palette, sprinkling Bright Red and Pastel Purple present on the throat, tongue, and medial side, plus bold yellow-green and blue worked in on the heel tab. But where these kicks truly shine is in the accented dazzling white thread which creates an all over shimmer.

When to expect them…

“Yecheil” releases on Dec. 15 for $220 at adidas.com and select retailers, but sneaker fans should stay on their toes. According to Yeezy Mafia two similarly blocked styles named “Yeezreel” and “Yeshaya” will be the next to drop December 2019 and January 2020, respectfully. The former covers the entire upper in a neon green shade and will be the first Yeezy V2 to incorporate both glow-in-the-dark and reflective details. Subsequently the latter bursts with Lilac and Highlighter Yellow.
