Michael Jordan and the Jordan Brand pledge $100 million over the next 10 years “dedicated to ensuring racial equality, social justice and greater access to education.” Recently, several companies have pledged to donate and re-innovate with regards to systemic problems facing African Americans. For example , Michael Jordan has stepped up. “We must join forces with the community, government and civic leaders to create a lasting impact together,” Jordan Brand president Craig Williams said. Jordan Brand adds its voice to Nike who has made June 19 aka Juneteenth 2020 a paid holiday for its employees.
