Nike SB Dunk hits Australia with an exclusive January 2020 Dunk Low “Safari” release. And we have an inside look.

Obviously, Nike SB Dunk Low has hit the ground running in 2020. The latest SB Dunk Low has been released to select skateboarding in Australia dubbed “Safari.” The Tinker Hatfield SB Dunk silhouette merges with an ’03 Air Max 1 Atmos of the same name. It just so happens that we got our hands on a pair.

This Australian exclusive dropped January 11th, retailing for $140 USD. A little under two weeks later and the resale value is currently doubled. True to the original, leather overlays are coated in splotchy Cement Grey reminiscent of iconic animal prints. Underneath sits a Burnt Orange suede quarter panels and a canvas toe box. On the lateral side, we find a tonal Yellow Swoosh quarter panel overlay. Meanwhile, an Outdoor Green Swoosh hit the quarter panel.

Additionally, the plush Black mesh tongue and flat laces and miniature Swooshes creates gorgeous depth for the overall look. On top, we see the Green and Yellow Nike SB tongue tab. This color combination is a nod to the Japanese boutique that inspired the Safari look. Likewise, a Brown heel counter sports an Outdoor Green embroidered Swoosh. Going inside the Burnt Orange collar, Green Nike SB and Zoom cobranding pops on the matching Orange insole. Finally, the upper sits on a dulled Cream midsole and an Orange and Green gum rubber outsole.
