Another Hardwood Hero surfaces from New Balance with the BB9000 “Team Royal” and “Red” colorways recently released April 1st retailing for $140. NB makes their return to the courts one to remember, mixing classic silhouettes with couture fashion inspirations. The NB BB9000 pulls from no less than 5 other previous New Balance silhouettes known for their high-performance on hardwood floors.

White full grain leather graces the majority of both uppers. Additionally, White appears on the liners and laces ending in either the titular Team Royal or Red and Black wax-dipped aglets. While the Team Royal model keeps it simple utilizing only Sail outside of White and Blue, the second silhouette includes splashes of Black throughout. Much attention is given to the FullCell midsole made to propel you forward both on and off the courts.

Sail appears on the retro’d tongues and both transparent outsoles with powerful traction come coated in their dominant color.
