Word on the street is Travis Scott’s highly coveted Air Jordan 4 “Purple Suede” originally for Friends & Family will receive a general release sometime in 2020.

Last summer, Travis Scott was spotted wearing vibrant Purple Air Jordan 4s during the Western Conference Finals in Houston. The third Cactus Jack AJ 4 colorway “Purple Suede” was exclusive to Friends and Family of La Flame and limited to roughly 1,000 pairs. However, the word is out: that the Jordan 4 may be getting the 2020 public release fans were craving.

Styled by influencer Bloody Osiris, the Jordan 4 is coated in an energetic Purple nubuck suede upper. Complementary Black pops on the laces, mudguard, and leather liner. But where it really shines is the mesh netting found along the tongue and in the quarter panels. At first glance, the rubber outsole appears to be Black. However, on closer inspection, a very Deep Purple is seen throughout, completed with a University Red Jumpman in the center.

The right and left sneaker swap branding locations. University Red Nike Air is on the left Purple heel and White inverted “Travis Scott” tag on the Black leather tongue linger. Similarly, the right heel has University Red Cactus Jack and a Purple “Air Jordan” tag inverted on the tongue liner.

Looking inside the sockliner, “Travis Scott” inverted branding appears with Black lettering inside a White text box on the left and “Cactus Jack” in University Red on the right. Both sit atop a Black insole.

Additional details are found in the Light Grey eyestays on the ankle stabilizers and forefoot stabilizers. The embroidered Jumpman “Flight” trademark almost shines on the Black tongue. Finally, we come to the all over Purple embossed Jumpman collar hangtag. It flips over to reveal embossed Cactus Jack branding in tonal Purple.

As a reminder, this is still speculation and not many other outlets have gotten in on the rumor. So you’ll just have to keep it locked right here for updates on the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Purple Suede” and the latest in sneaker news.
