Here’s a Yankeekicks on feet early release look at the upcoming Medicom Toy x Nike SB Dunk Low “BE@RBRICK” releasing later this month. After 12 years hiatus, Japan’s MEDICOM Toy and its mascot the BE@RBRICK team up with Nike for an all new SB Dunk Low to close out Summer 2020. Similar to a 2017 AF 1 model, this SB Dunk low-profile silhouette gets a fur makeover. Black faux fur coats the upper with a satiny finish and hits everywhere from the toe box to the extended tongue, to the quarter panel underlays and Nike Swoosh. However, the one place Black doesn’t touch is the Nike heel counter. Here, the hair turns to a dyed blonde Cream color. Laterally, we find a White Medicom “@” logo shaped with bear’s ears on the ankle to match the tongue tab and White sockliner. Going inside the Dunk, we find a White sole insert dressed in BE@RBRICK Bear graphics and Nike x Medicom cobranding. Subsequently, Black stitching hits the White Air midsole above a Cool Grey rubber outsole. In addition to the preset Black laces, this Dunk Low comes with a secondary White. Not only releasing in Men’s, the Medicom Toy x Nike SB Dunk Low “BE@RBRICK” will be available in full family sizing August 22, retailing for roughly $120-$130 for Men’s sizes and less for the other pairs.
