The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 “Black Multi” becomes the latest entry to the YankeeKicks Closet, expected to release in the upcoming months retailing for $140. There’s lots of fun to be had with the AF 1/1. Particularly, the incredibly versatile velcro upper sectioned off with color blocking.

In terms of color blocking, each sneaker mirrors the other. The grainy leather panels come arrange in a way that each color simultaneously works together and stands apart. 

Black dresses the velour base silhouette which feels light and textured to the touch.  Only the leather lace cage comes fixed to the upper. This matched the nylon tongue and breathable textile liner perfectly. Meanwhile, the heel counter reveals Bronze Air Force 1/1 embroidery.

A vivid, almost neon shade of Pink hits the perforated toe box. The toe wrap arrives split down the middle, with Green covering the lateral side and Navy on the medial side. This leads to the Cream-colored lateral and Green medial quarter panels.

Each houses a light minty Green Nike Swoosh. Likewise, this light Mint color makes up the laces. Coming around to the heel a Green stabilizer links the medial Pink and lateral Navy heel/ankle overlays to make one complete piece.

Even the tongue tabs and heel counters topped with Yellow Nike Air branding. Similarly, Yellow branding decorates the Black insoles. Subsequently, a classic White Air midsole connects the Navy rubber outsole.

Definitely, this fun wear for the sneakerheads allows mix and match the panels as you see fit. Dress it down with the bare AF 1/1 upper or pick and choose where you want some added color.

The finish on the panels gives off an almost patent shine and will absolutely steal the attention in whatever room they walk into.
