Take a YankeeKicks sneak peek look at the latest adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Stone Salt” rumored to release this October retailing for $230.
It’s been a few months since we’ve discussed a 380. After the “Covellite” dropped in March, it appears the silhouette makes a return to a more neutral colorway. Still playing with crystallized minerals, the upper itself does resemble its namesake.
To hit you with some science, stone salt forms when salty sea or lake water evaporates, leaving colorful crystals behind. Although known by other names and brighter colors, this iteration keeps a more bleached appearance perfect for the Boost 380.
The two-toned Primeknit base shows off a lovely cream color that pops among the muddier Grey hues more prevalent across the forefoot. Lighter Sail patches that run down the missing lace cage pull the focus to the matching laces, collar, and Yeezy Boost midsole.
This should make for quite the Fall look if the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Stone Salt” release as expected sometime in October. However, we’ll just have to wait and see. For now, enjoy the YankeeKicks original images and keep it locked here to see when they drop.
