Here’s a YankeeKicks sneak peek look at the upcoming Travis Scott x Fragment Design x Air Jordan 1 High OG SP “Military Blue” set to release sometime this Fall retailing for $175. La Flame is at it again, back to his roots with another beautifully colored AJ 1. It’s only been a few years since the release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Dark Mocha.” However, this new model gives it’s predecessor a run for its money. Outside of the synthetic tongue and liner, the high-profile silhouette comes dressed in gloriously tumbled leather. Despite the rough appearance, the sneakers are soft and supple to the touch and move easily with the foot; a testament to their quality.

The overall look of the model brings to mind the Fragment Jordan 1 Retro High from 2014. Although, Sport Blue gets replaced with Military Blue. A subtle difference to the untrained eye, but definitely a nice change from the typical Brown hues we’ve seen in most of the Travis Scott silhouettes. Classic White hits the leather toe wrap, eyestays, quarter panels, and synthetic tongue. Meanwhile, the titular Military Blue makes up the perforated tow box, rubber outsole as well as the ankle and heel overlays. This leaves Black for the laces, high profile collar, liner, and quarter panel Swoosh. Notably, the medial Swoosh appears inverted, the checks tip extending toward the toes.

Other distinct features include White Fragment branding on the lateral side of the left tongue and Red Cactus Jack branding on the lateral side of the right tongue. Coming around to the heels, we see a smiling Cactus Jack face instead of the frowning one from the Mocha on the left sneaker. While the right heel carries Black Fragment lightning bolts. Also, the high-profile synthetic collar sports a secret Velcro stash pocked, lined in beautiful pastel Purple satin. Additionally, the Sail midsole carries a distinct SKU code, similar to the 2021 Dunk High “Beijing.”
